Ongoing Projects

Public service is a hallmark of the Skaneateles Garden Club (SGC). Civic projects that help to beautify our community can be seen in various constructs, whether along village streets, donning buildings or on various municipal grounds. These projects include: Arboretum trees located around the village; the planting and maintenance of the pollinator garden located at the Community Center; the preparation of the Crèche for the annual dedication; the hanging baskets that adorn the village business district, the PJ Lemp Memorial Garden at the Barrow Art Gallery, the Shirley Feldmann Urn at Shotwell Park, and the Library flower boxes, to name a few.

The Skaneateles Community Center supports the mission of the Garden Club as well as the SGC Pollinator Garden Project, located at the entrance to the facility. Visit the centers website at the link below. Then come check out the garden and all the Community Center has to offer.
